012's Dorm
MX-Z0: She had been looking through the peephole of every single room...every. Single. One. And although she was reaching the end, she had still seen some oddities...for example, Paradi was awake. She had found them kicking their feet up in the air on their bed, doodling something by the looks of it...did they see the announcement and just not care enough to come over!?
Regardless, it was Gust's turn...and when she went to look through the peephole, she saw the nyric lying there...turning around, whining.
Gust: "...Just...go to sleep...! Now...!"
Gust: ...Sniff. Sniff.
Gust: "Too loud outside...too much going on! Who keeps making those footsteps!?"
MX-Z0: ...Footsteps?
She had sworn not to actual let anyone know she was spying on them...not only is it rule 1 of being a spy robot, but it might make people act differently. But, what Gust was saying...she had to know more.
Knock Knock.
Gust: "...Huh?"
The nyric skipped up, wobbling over to the door and...biting at the doorknob.
...A little further...
...Almost there....clink!
She finally opened the stupid door with her muzzle, greeting MX-Z0 with a happy wag of the tail. "Mixzo! Hello!...Up super late."
MX-Z0: "Correct. I couldn't help but hear you complaining about footsteps...any footsteps in particular?"
Gust: "Oh, well, Gust having a hard time to sleep...and someone kept running in and out of their dorm nearby! They were being kind of loud, and Gust has sensitive ears..."
MX-Z0: (...Must be really sensitive if not even I could hear it.)
Gust: "...But, why ask Gust that? Did something happen?"
MX-Z0: ...Fuck.
She should've known. Not only were they trying to sleep, but the big guy probably can barely use their tablet.
"...Well, you see...
...someone has died."
Gust: And there goes all of the pep in her step. The nyric immediately sinks to the ground, and tears well in her eyes.
"W...What...but,,, Gust wanted to,,, protect everyone!"
MX-Z0: "I know...we all did. Right now, I'm trying to figure out who did it-"
Gust: "Gust! Gust need to help!" There's a sudden determination back in the creature's body. She sniffles. "Gust will also go look for clues! Everywhere! So nobody else gets hurt!!"
Aaaand they run off, almost bumping into MX-Z0 on the way out.
MX-Z0: ...Guess there isn't much they can do about that, especially since more hands on deck is better. Now to head to the last four rooms...
