Love Suite

You have unlocked a Love Suite Key. Would you like to use it?

Stranger: (...Ah. The Love Suite. I was told that whoever I meet here will have me play a role of their "ideal"...)

Stranger: (...But I've never really gotten to know Seven Stones. So I'm completely lost on what this would entail...)

Seven Stones: He seems to be almost playing with his stones as they float around softly in front of him, spinning around like they're dancing. It takes him a second to even notice Stranger...but when he does, he rolls his eyes.

"Come crawling back to me, huh? Lookin' for another odd job? Or do you just want to annoy me again?"

Stranger: "...Huh?"

(Odd job? What kind of role am I playing here?)

Seven Stones: He glares. "You know what I'm talking about. Last time you were here, you wanted me to snipe a couple guys off the census for ya. Had me working with some little green fella...course, I don't remember that one's face."

Stranger: ...He didn't really know how to respond to this one.

(By "snipe off the census"...does he mean...!?)

Seven Stones: "...Thinking about something? Lost in thought?"

...Sigh.

"If you just wanted to talk to me, sir, then say so. Didn't expect you to be the type for chit chat, but...can't bite your feeding hand, eh?"

He pulls his mask aside, making a biting motion with his fangs before laughing. It's an...odd gesture.

Stranger: "I...suppose I would prefer to talk for now."

(This is the most bizarre role I've taken yet...I'm not sure how well I can even play along. But still, that look in his tired eyes...It's almost hypnotizing.)

Seven Stones: "Welp, while I've got the chance..."

He mumbles something under his breath, before walking up to Stranger and standing straight. "Sir...I need to admit something to ya, while we're hanging out."

Stranger: "...Go on."

He's intrigued...but also worried, knowing this place.

Seven Stones: "...Do you think it's worth it? Love, I mean?"

Stranger: "E-Eh? Well, uh, not sure what you mean by that..."

Seven Stones: He growls a bit, looking up at him. "You know what I mean by that. I only work for you because of it. Hard to really feel like getting close to people when they'll all outlive you, sir."

Stranger: Right. His illness.

He doesn't really know too much about it...something about his two attunements, from what he recalls. Guess it really shortens his lifespan.

...He couldn't imagine what that would feel like. Would he already be dead if he was Seven Stones? He doesn't entirely remember the extent of his age, but the thought shakes him as he feels a painful warmth in his chest.

Seven Stones: "...God, you're more of a wreck then you look, heh."

His neck leaves bristle a bit as he stretches. "Whatev. Shouldn't have you meddle in personal stuff, anyways. That's not why we're here, mostly. You want a job done, I want cash...although," He pauses, glancing away, "I don't mind hanging out from time to time. You're good company, despite how rich your dumbass is."

Stranger: (...He changes subjects so quickly...but I'd rather not dwell on it myself, to be fair.)

Letting out a breath, he nods. "I guess...not really too much I need to have you do right now, is all...anything you'd really want to do right now?"

Seven Stones: "...I could pelt you with stones. That's something that really entertains me."

Stranger: "W-Whuh-"

But it was too late. Stranger was already being pelted with stones as he yelped in confusion. He heard Seven Stones chuckle as he watched him swat the stones away...

(God- Ghk- What an odd guy...switching the subject every which way. Looks to be rather distant, too...)

(...I don't really understand him. His life, his goals, his "ideal", they seem to be different than anything I've gone through...)

(But I guess I can't really judge him for any of that. Despite everything, he's still my friend...even if he's pelting me with rocks for his amusement.)
