Endless Room

A room of endless walls and turns, that seems to stretch on forever. It seems very easy to get lost in a place like this.

Stranger: Upon entering the room, Stranger ends up confused by the mere sight of it. He can't see an end to the room no matter how hard he squints and bobs his head around.

"What...is this?"

Paradi: "Hm." They look around, and their wings flutter a little. "...I have an idea. Hold tight~."

And without another word, their wings suddenly unfold and they take flight, bobbing and weaving through the many turns of the bizarre room.

Stranger: "Gah- Hey!"

He calls out, but Paradi is already gone. "When could you actually fly???"

Tarnish: "Hah, ah-" He seems to attempt to laugh, but it doesn't come out as easily as it normally does. "I...didn't know they could do that either. I just assumed they had them clipped or something!"

It's hard to tell if he's impressed or afraid at how fast Paradi was. Perhaps he himself didn't know.

Paradi: Eventually, they come back, fluttering to the ground with their wings slowly clamping up again.

"It is, in fact, endless. No matter how far I went, there was no border in sight...then again, what are we to expect from a ripworld?"

Stranger: "Yeah, that's kind of weird...but i'm still wondering when you were able to fly."

Paradi: "I always could," they reply. "But doing so...it's pleasurable to me. And we can't have that, now can we~?"

They waltz out of the room, leaving the door open behind them. "Let's continue before someone gets lost in there."

Tarnish: "...Have you been able to decode what they're on about?" Tarnish whispers to Stranger.

Stranger: "Nah. Don't think I ever will."
