Games Room

A small room filled with different types of games, including a flatscreen TV with a PS5! No internet connection, unfortunately, and the PS5 doesn't even have that many games to play yet...

Dax: "Meeeow~!" Dax says, opening the door like a butler for Tarnish and Rue. "Come. We have secret things to discuss..."

Tarnish: "Secrets? How serious is such a meeting to do it in the realm of gaming?"

Dax: "Well, we need to play Paw Patrol while we discuss things. For therapy."

Rue: "What is Paw Patrol, anyways? I've never heard of it before."

Dax: "Me neither. Now get inside."

Eventually, the two walk in...and Dax notices someone else coming down the hall.

Dax: "Ivan. Get in here now."

Ivan: He chirps in surprise. "Huh? But I was just-"

Dax: "You've seen too much. Come with me. Now."

Ivan: ...He lets out a sigh. Dax is weird, yeah, but walking away now would just be rude...plus, he still can't shake off a feeling of guilt towards everyone.

He comes inside, sitting on the couch with Rue and Tarnish...the strange green alien plush stares at him. He stares back.

Tarnish: "Ah, Ivan! How's my dear feathery friend doing, I haven't seen you in a while!"

Ivan: "..I'm, fine. Thank you."

Rue: "Oh right...you tried to kill him," He states casually. "...I thought you'd be more awkward about this, Tarnish."

Tarnish: "Like I've said before, It's happened to me before! And his motive was so noble, how could I ever feel anger? Say, if you ever need to kill again, go ahead and-"

Ivan: "N-No! I'm not doing that!" Ivan stammers.

Dax: "...Anyways," Dax walks over, turning the TV on.

...It doesn't turn on.

The TV doesn't work.

"Let's discuss what I've figured out about Hitori through my blood sample."

Ivan: "You did what??"

Dax: "I took a blood sample. It was blue."

Rue: "Blue?"

Dax: "Yes," they nod. "Blue. And along with this, I like to believe that Hitori is actually not real, but an illusion. Tell me, have you ever actually seen or felt Hitori?"

Tarnish: "Why, I don't think I have-!"

Rue: "You stole their blood, though."

Dax: "...Oh yeah, I did do that." They ponder. "But I still feel like they're not normal, you know~."

Ivan: "Are, uh, any of us, really? No mean to be rude, but I don't think any of us are an average kind of prota."

Dax: "...Oh yeah. I am not normal also. But you're all more normal than me."

Tarnish: "Are we? Truly? Why, I am the epitome of exceptional! I am a worldburner, born from flame and soon to be cast back into it!"

Rue: "I believe that is irrelevant...how do you even test your blood, anyways? What methods do you use in a place like this?"

Dax: "Drinking :]"

Ivan: "Wh- Whwh...huh!? Huh!?"

Rue: ...

He puts his head in his hands in disappointment.

Rue: "Dax. You're going to get diseases."

Dax: "...Mrrrp."

Dax seems distraught. In their distress, they lie down on the floor, purring to themselves all the while.

"This meeting was a failure. You all can go now."

Ivan: "Are you all...gonna be alright? I can stick around if you really want, Dax-"

Dax: "You can go if you want."

Dax is still just...lying there.

Tarnish: He scratches his head for a moment, rustling the fur on the top of him as he thinks...

"Oh! Well, let's change the course of this meeting and have a little fun instead!"

He hops over and picks Dax up, holding him like a baby. Dax lets out a squeak of surprise.

"I decree that we play monopoly! To remind us of our lives in the city, where capitalism is king! And perhaps Dax could better explain their actions while we-"

BANG.A loud noise is heard outside, followed by yelling.

Dax: Dax is just...staring at Tarnish as they continue to hold them. Although everyone's attention is now on the noise...they're just staring.

Ivan: "W-What was...What was that!?"

Rue: "Didn't sound good. Normal Gang, let us "roll out", if that is the correct word."

Rue lead the charge to check outside, everyone else following.
