03's Dorm

Stranger: knock knock knock.*

With a yawn, Stranger waits by the door of his curious acquaintance...despite getting a lot of sleep last night, he still looks tired. Is he actually tired? Well, who's to say.

MX-Z0: Up to this point, she's been lying on her bed staring at the ceiling for hours. It's the closest she'll get to "sleep", when she lets her body's functions run at a decreased rate, and spaces out for as long as she can during the night.

Thankfully, it's not too hard to break her out of that, and she quickly answers the door after a moment to...'stretch'? Can robots stretch?

Stranger: He gives a little smile as he greets her. "Aah...morning, Mixzo. Figured I'd come see what you wanted from me since I couldn't come last night."

MX-Z0: "I appreciate it."

She steps back, letting Stranger inside her glowing pink room. Despite the obvious electrical theme and the uh...things hanging everywhere, it looks like a normal room. "Please enter."

Stranger: Shutting the door behind him, he watches as Mixzo sits on her bed expectantly. He decides to sit across from her, tilting his head.

"So...is this about the truth or dare you got? I never saw which one you got..."

MX-Z0: "Ahh...right. How did your day of meowing go?" She gives a grin.

Stranger: Oh right. That. "I-It wasn't that bad. The day's already past, and at least I had the tablet to circumvent the rule a bit...the prawn hasn't said anything so I can only assume that I beat mine."

MX-Z0: "Hmf. Good."

She searches under her pillows, pulling out a red slip of paper from them. She...stares at it. Her antennae twitch.

Stranger: "...So you got a truth?"

MX-Z0: "Correct," She glances at the paper again, "It specifies that I only need to tell one person...and I would trust you the most with sensitive information out of everyone here."

Stranger: "...Me, huh?" He seems surprised. They haven't been here for too long, and she already trusted him enough with something like this?...Then again, there weren't many options.

"Well, what do you have to tell me?"

MX-Z0: "It's about...my career. It's instructing me to tell you what my job is-- or, was."

Stranger: "Oh, right-- robots are created for a specific purpose, aren't they?"

MX-Z0: She nods. "Unfortunately. And my express purpose...

...Was to be used as a spy."

Stranger: He flinches on instinct. "A spy!?"

MX-Z0: "Correct. More specifically, I was designed by a large corporation with the intent of sabotaging business rivals. I was created with cloaking functions allowing me to hide among organic employees...as an impostor."

MX-Z0: "However, these features are now absent to me, as I have lost them."

Stranger: "Really? ...How did you lose them?"

MX-Z0: "..."

She glances away.

Stranger: "...Right. You don't have to tell me everything, sorry."

He stretches as he sits for a moment, trying to ease off the awkward tension he might've created. "Well, if it's any comfort to you, your secret is safe with me. I don't like spreading that stuff around."

MX-Z0: "...Thank you."

Just then, her antennae light up, blinking in a strange sort of pattern...

Stranger: "...Can I ask you one question, at least?"

MX-Z0: The blinking stops. "Go on."

Stranger: "Since you were created to be a spy...if you had a choice, what would you want to be? Curious, is all."

MX-Z0: ...She's quiet. For a good, long while.

"...Nobody's asked me that one before," She pauses...there's a sense of melancholy on her blank, metal face. "I'll have to think about that."

Stranger: "Fair enough."

He gets up from his seat on the bed, ruffling his jacket. "Jasper was asking me to help him with something earlier, if you wanted to go see what that is. Something about looking for art supplies...?"

MX-Z0: "Well I don't have anything better to do...lead the way."

And as Stranger exits her dorm, she follows suit.
